Amicus Curiae – ADPF’s 153 e 320
The CJT/UFMG helped the Committee on Relatives of Political Deaths and Disappearances of the Institute for Studies on State Violence (IEVE) to apply for admission as an amicus curiae in ADPF 320, filed by the PSOL – Socialism Party and Liberty – before the Federal Supreme Court. In the action, the PSOL questions the Amnesty Law, requesting that it not be applied to serious human rights violations perpetrated in the context of the civil-military dictatorship, as well as determining compliance with the Inter-American Court of Human Rights’ sentence in the Gomes Lund and others Vs. Brazil case. The Commission, assisted by the CJT/UFMG, was admitted as an amicus curiae in 2018.
